Settling Agent Concentrate
-
Settling issues in wastewater treatment arise from factors like high influent suspended solids, poor flocculation, organic and hydraulic overloading, excessive grease content, and inadequate mixing. These problems can lead to poor settling, resulting in elevated suspended solids in the effluent and reduced overall water quality.
Settling Agent Concentrate, a cationic polymer flocculant, aids in the rapid aggregation and settling of suspended solids, making them easier to remove. It is designed to efficiently clarify wastewater in clarifiers, digesters, ponds, basins, and reservoirs.

Using Settling Agent Concentrate
-
For Clarifiers or Settling Basins
-
Feed the settling agent directly into the waste stream before the clarifier.
-
Drip or pump at a point of strong agitation. Use rates may vary from 50 ppm up to 300 ppm (2 quarts to 3 gallons per 10,000 gallons of wastewater).
-
Continuous drip application is recommended for maximum economy and effectiveness.
For Ponds or Lagoons
-
Drip or spray 10 to 20 gallons per million gallons of water.
-
Ensure even distribution by dripping directly into the waste stream or lightly over the surface.
See label and SDS for safety information.
