Jetfoam™
-
Sewer grease solidifies and accumulates in wastewater collection systems, leading to costly and hazardous issues such as backups, sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs), and foul odors.
Traditional sewer jetting often requires multiple passes to clear the line. Jetfoam™ emulsifies sewer grease and keeps it in suspension, enabling superior cleaning results in a single pass.
Jetfoam™ is a degreaser additive that enhances the efficiency of the sewer jetting process. When mixed with the jet's water and propelled through sewer lines at high pressure, it improves the removal of debris, grease, sludge, and other build-ups from pipe surfaces.
Jetfoam™ cleans by leveraging these principles:
- Physical removal
- Mixing action
- Eco-friendly emulsification
- Prevents grease from re-coagulating
Jetfoam™ is now available with grape, lavender, orange, or lemon scent at no extra charge! The fragrance helps with hose and equipment odors.

Using Jetfoam™
Always follow label directions. Use proper protection. Jetfoam™ should not be used in temperatures below 40°F.
Proper mixing is very important. For best mixing results, use the jet’s recirculator system for 10-15 minutes or:
- Fill half the tank with water.
- Add Jetfoam™ (mix 5 gallons of Jetfoam™ for every 500 gallons of water in the jet’s tank).
- Complete filling the tank.
Each 5-gallon pail of Jetfoam™ (or 500 gallons of Jetfoam™ solution) will treat approximately 500 feet of line up to 10 inches in diameter.
Sewer Line Cleaning
- Direct solution up the sewer line at high pressure and half volume.
- When the solution reaches the second manhole, shut down equipment and allow ~10 minutes for product to penetrate and lift grease. If the grease is old and hard, wait an additional 5-10 minutes.
- Spray back to the original manhole at high pressure and volume.
- One pass through sewer lines is usually all that is required.
- Flush the line with clean water to remove remaining debris.
Manholes, Wet Wells, and Lift Stations
- Using the jet truck, spray a direct stream of the Jetfoam™ solution onto the grease for ~10 minutes.
- After stopping the spray, wait 10 minutes to allow penetration.
- Blast the grease with high-volume, high-pressure regular water.
Avoid direct skin and eye contact. In the event of contact, flush with water. If irritation persists, contact a physician.
